YogaBeez Training Policy/Code of Conduct

1.Full attendance is required

There is 1 emergency Hour allowed for our 4 Day Teacher Trainings, 2 Emergency Hours allowed for our 95 Hour Teacher Trainings

If more hours are missed then the teacher trainer will not issue a certificate to the student. Students are not permitted to leave the teacher training early on the last day. A planned/unplanned late arrival or planned/unplanned early departure does not count as an “emergency.” Check travel times in advance and leave time for delays. Contact Bryony on Whatsapp or email before start of training if you are going to be late.


2.No photography or video of children’s classes

Please keep your phone away during the teacher training unless you are expecting an emergency call. Please refrain from taking photos or video during our practice sessions. Photos will be taken by the teacher trainer or appointed assistant. A link to these photos will be provided one week after the training. Please let trainer/assistant know if you prefer not to be in photos/videos.


3.Be responsible

By enrolling in this course you acknowledge and agree that you are participating in the Training offered by YogaBeez, taught by Bryony Duckitt, during which you will receive information and instruction about yoga and mindfulness. Please recognize that yoga requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and be fully aware of the risks and hazards involved. Also to recognize that it is quite common that you could experience a number of different emotions during a mindfulness practice. Understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding participation in Yoga Trainings. In consideration of participating in the YogaBeez training, you would need to agree to assume full responsibility for any risk, injuries or dangers, physical or mental wellbeing, known or unknown, which might incur as a result or participating in the program. If you are suffering from any serious or chronic illness, depression, anxiety, psychosis, bereavement or have recently had a major operation please let trainer know.


4.Be kind

Please make sure everyone feels welcome in the space. We encourage inclusive yoga and are open and accepting of everyone in attendance – children, young people and adults. No forms of bullying or prejudice will be accepted. Give space for everyone to share your ideas and views.


5.Be authentic

The teacher training content, information and material provided in the teacher training manual is solely intended for you to teach the specified group you are certified to teach. The teacher training content has a copyright and is not to be shared on social media or used to create your own teacher training. It’s also not intended to teach other adults/teachers. 6.Cancellation Policy

In the event that we must cancel a training, all payments (including deposits) will be returned immediately, or may be applied to future workshops. In the event you have to cancel a training the full fee (minus the £200 non-refundable deposit) will be refunded or transferred to next training up to six weeks before the training starts. After this time the fee is non-refundable/transferable. Certain cases will be considered. If for any reason, once training has commenced that you choose/are unable to complete all attendance, no refund or certification will be available – possible date transfers/made up hours can be discussed. Medical certificates must be provided.


7.Requesting a transfer

Students may request a transfer to another course. Course transfers are only available up until six weeks before the original course start date. Students must contact YogaBeez by email at prior to cancelling their registration in order to receive the course transfer. Where the new course has a higher tuition fee, the difference will be charged for the transfer.
